Top profile or bottom profile?
Top profile is cut to the shape of the sheet from above: it goes on top of the sheet, under a flashing, at the ridge and wherever the roof meets a wall. Bottom profile is the mirror shape: it goes under the sheet at the eave, sitting on the fascia or purlin to close the gap above the gutter. Most roofs need both: top at the ridge, bottom at the eave.
How many strips do I need?
Measure the ridge and every roof-to-wall line, divide by 0.95, round up. A ridge takes a strip on both sides, so double the ridge length. A 10m ridge is 20 ÷ 0.95 = 21.1, so order 22.
Which sheets does it suit?
COLORBOND® TRIMDEK® and ZINCALUME® TRIMDEK®, .42 and .48 BMT. For other profiles, see corrugated or KLIP-LOK® foam infill.
How do I fit them?
Press the strip onto the sheet before the ridge capping or apron flashing goes on. No adhesive, no tools; the flashing holds it. Butt strips end to end.
Are they fire rated?
No. Not for BAL-rated builds. Ask before ordering if your site has a bushfire attack level.
How long does delivery take?
