KLIP-LOK® 700 Top Foam Infill Strip, 711mm
Profiled foam strip that sits on top of KLIP-LOK® 700 sheeting, under the ridge, apron or barge flashing, and fills the space over the pans between the tall ribs. It stops wind, dust, leaves, birds and wasps getting in under the flashing. It is not waterproofing; the flashing and its fixings do that.
To order: select your state, enter the number of strips and add to cart. Each strip is 711mm, one sheet width plus a small overlap, so total flashing metres ÷ 0.711, rounded up. For the strip that goes under the sheet at the gutter edge, order the KLIP-LOK® bottom infill strip.
Product information
Top or bottom strip?
Top has a flat top and notches that drop over the ribs; it goes wherever a flashing sits on the sheet. Bottom has a flat base and humps that fill the underside of the ribs; it goes wherever the sheet sits on something.
Which sheet does it fit?
KLIP-LOK® 700 only: 700mm cover, three ribs at 237mm centres. The strip is 711mm long, 49mm overall, with 44mm notches to clear each rib.
How is it fitted?
Lay the strip on the sheet, notches over the ribs, then fix the flashing down over it. No adhesive. Fix the flashing to the rib crests, not through the pan.
Is it fire rated?
No. Not fire retardant. In a BAL-rated build the closure under the ridge or apron may need to be a fire-rated product or a metal closure; check your BAL report.
How long does delivery take?
Ordered with sheets or on its own, postage Australia-wide: $17.99 standard or $25.99 express, selected at checkout.
