The full range of COLORBOND® colours. Select your colour above to match your roof or wall.

What size is it, and can I change it?

Standard size is 10mm x 90mm x 90mm x 10mm. Length tolerance is +200mm / 0mm. For a different size or shape, download the custom flashings order form and email it to sales@metalroofingonline.com.au.

Which screws do I use?

We suggest colour-matched roofing fastener screws: 12 x 65 Timber Fix T17.

What COLORBOND® Corner Flashing Is For

COLORBOND® corner flashing — also called corner capping — covers and weatherproofs the external corners where two roof or wall sheets meet. It's used on roof and wall corners, sheds and garages, and as barge capping along gable ends, sealing the one junction most likely to let water in, with COLORBOND® corner roof flashing and larger 140mm corner roof flashing offering options for different designs.

Corner Flashing or Corner Capping?

The two terms are used interchangeably. "Capping" usually refers to the external cover that sits over a corner or barge line — which is exactly what this profile does. If you've been quoted for either, this is the part you need, with a COLORBOND® MATT corner flashing option available for low-sheen, modern roofs.

Specifications

Made to Your Job

Need a non-standard length or angle to suit your roof pitch? Submit your measurements via our Custom Flashing Order Form or email sales@metalroofingonline.com.au. Specify length, COLORBOND® colour and corner angle, and we'll cut it to suit.

Fitting Tips

  • Lap at least one rib over corrugated sheeting for a watertight join.

  • Fix at consistent spacing with the correct screws or rivets for your sheet.

  • Seal laps with a neutral-cure roof sealant.

  • Keep a consistent fall so water runs off, not back into the corner.

Genuine BlueScope Steel

Made from 100% genuine COLORBOND® and ZINCALUME® steel, sourced from BlueScope and backed by the BlueScope warranty. Both deliver the corrosion resistance that makes steel the standard for Australian roofing, especially when used with COLORBOND® and ZINCALUME® roofing sheets across the rest of your roof system.

Delivery

Dispatched in approx. 3–7 working days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between corner flashing and corner capping?
None, really - they're two names for the same external cover over a roof or wall corner. This 90×90mm profile suits both.

Will it match my roof colour?
Yes. It's available in the full COLORBOND® range, so you can match it to your roof, wall or gutter.

Can I get custom lengths or angles?
Yes — made to order up to 8 metres, in custom angles to suit your roof pitch.

Is it suitable for sheds and garages?
Yes. It's a common choice for shed and garage corners, as well as houses and barge boards.

Is this genuine COLORBOND® steel?
Yes - certified Australian-made COLORBOND® steel, backed by the BlueScope warranty.
