ZINCALUME® KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH® is a concealed-fixed roofing and wall-cladding profile. A strong rib makes a bold statement rising from flat pans with longitudinal fluting, creating clean, long, straight lines across residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
ZINCALUME® steel provides exceptional corrosion resistance, while the concealed fixing system keeps exposed fasteners out of the cladding. When correctly designed and installed, this helps deliver superb weatherproof performance and weathertight roofs, similar to other ZINCALUME® corrugated iron roofing products.
The ZINCALUME® steel finish provides exceptional corrosion resistance and a clean metallic appearance. Because the sheets lock onto clips, there are no exposed fasteners through the cladding. This supports reliable weatherproof performance when the roof is correctly designed and installed, comparable to high‑performing ZINCALUME® corrugated metal roofing.
The profile’s rib strength and excellent spanning capacity make it ideally suited to low-pitched and near-flat roof planes. Long spans, support spacings and wind capacities must still be confirmed against the project design and current LYSAGHT® technical requirements, just as they are for ZINCALUME® TRIMDEK® roofing sheets in 0.48 BMT.
Profile: LYSAGHT® KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH®
Material: Genuine BlueScope ZINCALUME® steel
Base metal thickness: 0.42 BMT
Nominal cover width: 700 mm
Nominal rib height: 43 mm
Applications: Roofing and wall cladding, similar to ZINCALUME® Trimdek roofing and wall sheets
Fixing method: Concealed fixing with KLIP-LOK 700 clips
Sheet lengths: Factory cut to order
Sheet tolerance: Length +0 mm/−15 mm and width ±4 mm
Allow for the published sheet tolerance when ordering. Long sheets also require appropriate consideration of handling, transport access, thermal expansion and contraction, as well as compatible ZINCALUME® flat sheet roof flashings for weatherproof detailing.
The general published minimum roof pitch for KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH® in 0.42 BMT is 2° in non-cyclonic areas.
Certain commercial and industrial roofs may be designed down to 1°, but only when the specific LYSAGHT® drainage, support, roof-length and installation provisions are met. Obtain project-specific technical advice before using 0.42 BMT sheeting below 2° or in a cyclonic location.
KLIP-LOK 700 sheets are secured using dedicated concealed fixing clips. The clips are fixed to the roof supports before the sheets are locked into position, following similar principles to COLORBOND® KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH® roofing installation.
The dedicated clip system provides a fast and effective solution for efficient installation without piercing the roofing sheets, and works well alongside other low‑pitch profiles such as ZINCALUME® SPANDEK® roofing.
Calculate the number of clips required using:
Number of supports × number of sheets
The clips permit thermal expansion along long, straight runs while maintaining the profile’s clean appearance. Where end laps or expansion joints are required, the LYSAGHT® LOK-KLIP® system provides a weather-resistant end and expansion-joint solution.
Fixing clips are not included with the roofing sheets. Order KLIP-LOK 700 fixing clips here.
This product is manufactured from 0.42 BMT ZINCALUME® steel. The correct base metal thickness depends on the complete building design, including spans, support spacing, wind classification and roof configuration.
Do not substitute one thickness for another without confirming the project requirements. If your design specifies the thicker option, view the 0.48 BMT ZINCALUME® KLIP-LOK 700 roofing sheets.
Select your delivery state, enter the required sheet length and quantity, then add the product to your cart. Add each different sheet length as a separate line item.
