ZINCALUME® Fascia Cover – A Durable Steel Cover for Old Timber Fascia

Cover old, weathered or rotting timber fascia with a ZINCALUME® fascia cover - the Lysaght NOVALINE® profile, formed from bare aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy-coated steel that won't warp, shrink or rot, with no ongoing painting. It slides straight over your existing fascia boards, so there's no need to remove them. A practical, cost-effective choice for sheds, garages, carports and utility builds, or anywhere a bare-metal finish suits and a colour match isn't needed. Cut to size and delivered ready to install.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS: Next generation ZINCALUME® aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy coated steel complies with AS 1397:2011 G550, AM125 (550 MPa minimum yield stress, 125 g/m2 minimum coating mass).

METAL & TIMBER COMPATIBILITY Lead, copper, bare steel and green or some chemically-treated timber are incompatible with this product; thus, don’t allow any contact of the product with those materials, nor discharge of rainwater from them onto the product.

FASCIA COVER INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

 

Fixing this new ZINCALUME® Fascia cover system into place is far easier with two people. The main reason is that it is flimsy and could bend easily if lifted incorrectly. Now simply push the fascia cover over your old timber fascia and screw it into place using a 7 x 25 bugle screw somewhere around the top where the gutter will hide it.

Unlike the standard metal fascia. The clips required to attach the gutter to this product are the same clips you would need to connect to a timber fascia. INTERNAL or EXTERNAL gutter clips.                                                                                                                                                    

Products you may need with this are external fascia mitres and internal cover caps.
